Frequency management

Manual frequency switch

With the manual frequency switch, the operator can switch to the next radio channel by pressing a button.

Your advantages:

  • The process is easy to understand and offers a quick solution.

How it works:

  • To switch the radio channel the operator presses the Start button.
  • If this channel is occupied by another device, it is possible to switch again to the next frequency.
  • 16 radio channels are available.

radiomatic® AFS

radiomatic® AFS stands for Automatic Frequency Selection.

Your advantages:

  • To switch the frequency, the operator simply has to turn the transmitter off and on again. The radio system then automatically finds a free channel.
  • This process is thus a quick and easy solution for the operator.

How it works:

  • When the transmitter is turned on, the radio system checks if the radio channel that was last used is available.
  • If this channel is occupied, the radio system automatically switches to a free radio channel.
  • If there are frequency conflicts later on, the operator simply turns the transmitter off and on again.
  • radiomatic® AFS immediately searches for a free radio channel.

Frequency management

radiomatic® AFM

radiomatic® AFM stands for Automatic Frequency Management, the world’s first Automatic Frequency Management by HBC-radiomatic.

Your advantages:

  • A manual frequency coordination with other radio users is not necessary.
  • With this high-performing frequency management, the operator can work over great distances without any interruption.

How it works:

  • With its innovative technology, the system constantly detects free radio channels.
  • If the radio channel currently in use is occupied by another radio device, the function automatically switches to a free radio channel in less than a second.

Frequency management

DECT

DECT stands for Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications and offers fully automatic frequency management.

Your advantages:

  • A manual frequency coordination with other radio users is not necessary.
  • The operator can work without interruptions, even in areas with many radio users. This saves valuable time.

How it works:

  • This technology works on an exclusive frequency band of 1880 – 1900 MHz.
  • Frequency management is fully automatic.

Frequency management

Adaptive Frequency Hopping

HBC’s advanced fully automatic frequency management comes standard with all our 2.4 GHz radio systems.

Your advantages:

  • A manual frequency coordination with other radio users is not necessary.
  • The operator can work without interruption, even in areas with many radio users. This saves valuable time.
  • This technology is approved almost worldwide, which makes warehousing much easier: instead of different country-specific high frequency modules, in most cases, just a single 2.4 GHz module can be used.
  • In countries where HBC radio systems are approved, the 2.4 GHz technology is available without registration or license fees. This saves costs and effort.

How it works:

  • Frequency management is already included in the radio system and works automatically.
